Gray Skies Are Gonna Clear Up

Hello, everyone! Today I have another card using a stamp set from the Brutus Monroe March release. I used the Be Unique stamp set.

For the blue background, I rubbed some Cornflower Surface Ink onto my craft mat and mixed some water into it so I could create a watercolor to paint onto a piece of Alabaster Cardstock. I made it darker towards the bottom and made it lighter towards the top. I repeated the same process for the gray background using the Sidewalk Surface Ink.
Once the backgrounds were dry, I sprayed some Squeaky Clean over them and used a heat tool to activate it. This gave the speckly like background. On the blue piece that I freehand cut into a window shape, I unscrewed the top off the Squeaky Clean and flicked some larger drops of it on the blue piece and used my heat tool again.

I stamped the girl bunny from the Be Unique stamp set and several of the clouds on the Alabaster Cardstock with Raven Detail Ink. Colored the bunny image in with some Leisure Arts Colored Pencils and fussy cut out the bunny and clouds. Adhered the blue background piece to the gray piece and adhered them both to a card base. Used some Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Squares to attached the clouds and bunny.
Then on the bottom of my card, I stamped the sentiment from the Be Unique stamp set with Raven Detail Ink and my card was done and ready to be sent off to cheer someone up. :)

Fur Baby Scrapbook Layout

Hello!  Today I'm sharing a layout I created for Creative Embellishments of my cute fur baby, Cocoa. She always has her tongue hanging out even when her mouth is closed.

Check out my process video below to see how my layout came together.
Make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel to get updates when I post a new video.

I got to use lots of older die cuts and embellishments up on this layout by layering them up under my photo.  I have a bad habit of taking all the leftover die cuts and embellishments from scrapbook kits and putting them into a drawer and forgetting about them.

For the "Fur Baby" title, I started out coloring it a light pink but then felt it needed to stand out more so I painted it with some black gesso. Once I got done painting it I kinda wished I had left it pink but it was too late to go back.
